Things have been going well here. Strange, but well.
Facing the repercussions of the summer's actions, and after 8 days of being here, things are finally looking less than dire. I suppose I'm just too charming, if I dare use the word, in person to have my mistakes go forever unforgiven. It's nice to avoid serious ire like I do, but I never really learn anything. Regardless, I think I learned something this time, and I am infinitely grateful that I was forgiven.
The next time the world gives me a clear and obvious test of my character and capabilities, I will fail no one. Least of all myself.
