2008 Hiatus Challenge #3: Do You Like Pina Coladas? Getting Caught in the Rain?
What do I have to do?
Clichés, romantic or otherwise, make all of us cringe, but for this challenge, we want you to pick a cliché, any cliché, and make it work. Put a new spin on it, use it ironically, or just write it so well we're all too busy swooning to remember it was used in a dozen cheesy love ballads or on more than its share of Hallmark ads. As usual, we encourage any pairing, any genre. When you're ready to share your story, post it on your LJ (or wherever you post your work), then post a link back to it in this thread at
