September Challenge:

A Stolen MomentWrite about a stolen moment. It can be a moment in time one character takes from another or from time itself. A stolen glance, touch, kiss, or night together. Making the best of a window of opportunity: when a head is turned, a guard is not looking, or a lover is out of town. It's about things that ought ( Read more... )

Please forgive me if it's not the appropriate place to post this comment, but I couldn't think of any better one. So, I'm new to this wonderful community of yours, and it seems to me so promising, and filled with new and exciting ideas, and I joined it full heartily. And I've got this question: which is the deadline for September's challenge? Am I still in if I post my fiction one of these days?

Hi there! Glad to have you in the com! And no worries about posting, we're very laid back here.

The monthly challenges are issued at the beginning of a month (thereabouts, I'm kinda lazy) and rounded up at the end - so you've got oodles of time. And we're all about the fic, so I've no problem rounding up stragglers, either. ;) Just post a link to your fic in the challenge post and then we'll repost at the end of the month so everyone can find it easily!

And if you like prompts, feel free to use the tags to go to the previous monthly challenges (they won't get rounded up, but hopefully will inpire you) and we also have an hourly writing challenge called One prompt/One hour you can read about Here

Have fun here!

First of all, thank you very much for your kind answer. This month's challenge presented so many opportunities, it was really difficult to chose a single idea, and I finally decided to quickly write down a thought which formed in my mind only an hour ago. It's not the best, and it's not the only one I'll bring on, I promise, but here's the link to my contribution for Stolen moments:

Italian Mind Tricks

Second, yes, I do like prompts, and I simply adore challenges! That's why I'll take part to your Bone Yard Challenge as well (probably will send my creation over, these days), and will certainly check up the older prompts, the One prompt/One hour exercise, and any other activities which might happen around!

Happy to be in :)
