....the rest of my life to go.
That's right folks -- I got a job! Woohoo! Ok, so I know this journal has been dormant for some time now. I figured it was time to update it now that I have something a bit more significant to post.
So last Friday I was offered the position of a web app developer at NCGi. God blessed with me a great opportunity this past summer to intern at NCGi, and to my amazement it has led to my first real job. One year ago I could have never imagined things working out the way they have. I really couldn't ask for more with this job. Well, besides more money. But really, we always want more in our culture. And once we get what we want, it suddenly loses its appeal and we find ourselves wanting more again. And really, I've never had close to this much money so money schmoney.
Anyways. The offices are gorgeous, located just outside of town with the beautiful countryside and lake outside our windows. The drive is of course short and painless, about 10 minutes. My fellow employees for the most part are really cool and fun. Some days it's like comedy hour up in here. And to top it off there are lots of awesome Christian men and women here.
...Ok took a break there for a game of foosball here in our rec room. Suppose I should get back to work. Ugh. Fridays take forever to end some days.
Oh yeah, watch out for Wave 94.1 here in Tallahassee. We're interviewing with them soon and they should be putting us in regular rotation. Heads up in Jax, St. Augustine, and Orlando too. We're trying to take over Christian radio in Florida. Or not. Haha. Somebody's gotta start a revolution here though. Time for 1980's era Christian pop music to go.
