For starters, I came here to announce that I have now finished reading Ysabel. Yes, it was that good, and it was a ridiculously fast read. I started the book on Friday, and finished it just now, despite also going to class today, going to work yesterday,

Gyah! This was the last thing I needed to read tonight, because I'm already feeling out of sorts and now I'm just feeling rightously incenced on your behalf. Honestly. How big is the pickle that's up that prof's ass? You should have emailed her back and asked her, in a politely sarcastic way, what her definition of "initiative" was.
... Unless "initiative" is her shortened slang for the name of a course that she teaches. Which is retarded at any rate.

I can't *beleive* you've finished Ysabel already! You disgust me and amaze me all at once, alas. I'm still trucking through Perdido St. Station, and loving every second of it. Maybe Ysabel will bump up to the #2 waiting spot on my list after Neuromancer. I've also been told to read the Historian. Maybe you should check it out, if you're wanting something to read now that you're done. It sounds like it's different enough from G.G.K. to me. ^_~ Then again, what, I ask you, is equal to G.G.K.?? *grins*
