Soooo
Over the last 7 months I have been dealing with increased fatigue. Now, this might be sleep apnea.. but.. I started having diaphoresis (sweating) with activity. I really didn't connect this with anything but that I'd started cymbalta in Dec and one of the side effects is sweating. By Jan I had gotten up to 30-45 min on the statoinary bike at the gym and was feeling great.. then this fatigue started.
On top of this, I'd been taking extra advil/ibuprofen since Feb with repeated tooth abcesses and rounds of antibiotics and prednisone. One tooth root cannald 4 times before it was right. Next one removed after another abcess.. finally last one out in June after 5 th round of antibiotics and taking more pain meds than I have thru 4 surgery's.. *sigh* (Now almost healed and perm bridge work soon.)
Over last 2 weeks, the fatigue increased with exercise. Doing rounds on patients and passing meds wore me completely out. I'd be sweating and short of breath. I had some chest pain but put it off as reflux as I'd had a negative stress test in '02. So.. Mon at work 2 hours pain.. Tues the pain was worse. I was trying to chart. put myself on heart monitor to look for any rhythm problems.. none. Then boss walked by and went.. wtf? So I was shipped to the ER. Then admitted for a stress test.
Flunked the stress test yesterday so this morning I go for an angiogram. I am sorta torn between wether I want them to find a blockage they can stent or find nothing. If they find a stentable blockage I should feel better fast. If not, then I have to get a gastrectomy scope and look for an ulcer. I am going to get the sleep study I need too at some point.
So off I go in a couple of hours and hoefully get stuff fixed. *sigh*
