why G-d why...
i feel the need to express my utter dissapointment with one of my family members. i have very little patience for my paternal grandparents, namely because one is an evil midget who only knows how to express love through gifts rather than nurturing the soul, while the other is a half senile shovanistic homophobic racist. the former, who just happens to be my biological grandmother, has been on relitivly good behavior, so i don't really have any complaints about her. the latter however, by default, my grandfather, really tested my limits as far as self restraint. i think i shall put down, to the best of my abilities, what he said:
me: so what does this prof. do that's so shocking?
grandfather: well...he's *in a whisper that seems to convey the disgust at the thought of the word*...gay*smiles at me as if saying that should be enough to answer my question*
me: what's so shocking about that?
grandfather: well it's just..you know he reffers to himself as cottony the queer?
me:*blank stare which turns into a forced smile*oh really?
grandfather:*notices im not pleased*well here's another story!
me:*thinking oh great...but maybe there's hope for him. this might prove insightful or interesting*mhm...
grandfather: i was standing on line for the cell phones, you know verizon? well this white woman was standing there with two black children and she screams out*which is an obvious exageration* i adopted these kids.
me:oh?*no....*
grandfather:and then the woman's lesbion partner comes over and stands next to her! she points to her and says, 'im the mom she's the...the"...what's the word?
me:father?
grandather:yes! well i just can't believe two white women would want to adopt two black children. it just doesn't make sense...maybe if one was white and the other was black.
me:maybe the women loved them?
grandfather:it just doesn't make sense...
this man's genes are inside me. i just can't help but fear im doomed to this kind of ignorance. yet that isn't the end of it! if anyone makes a single comment, even if it's obvious it's in jest, about the jews he flys off the handle! how can a man who can stand so firmly for the rights of a certain group, yet seriously make these comments, call himself a liberal. i mean he proved he was a racist, and a shovanist, and homophobic with one fucking story! if i ever approach anything approaching this level of dickery please shoot me.
other than that things are going well. i went to ross and picked up a few things*jeans, dress, jacket, and a blous*. new years is mike's party = hehehehehehehehehe joy^-^ i found out what it's like to be drilled by a dentist...huzzah cavity filling with not enough novicane!
