Word to all my medically-oriented friends: If you end up going to Brown Med School, for the love of God, stay far, far away from the department of Community Health. Because, my God. WORSE PEOPLE/DEPARTMENT EVER. They are disorganized and inefficient and evil and somehow it is never their fault, except that it IS.
So work is being difficult lately, in case you couldn't tell...of course, it wouldn't be difficult if CERTAIN people would, you know, follow the proper procedures, but anyway. Have also finally been able to submit the application for the job I already do (which is a weird experience), despite the frustrating past week giving me second thoughts. With any luck, I'll hear for sure about things one way or the other, and then can engage in a mad apartment search for someplace not too horrendously far from College Hill.
Had a very nice weekend...the GC was in town to visit St. A's, so spent a lot of time hanging out at the Hall, eating Indian food, drinking good liquor, and (of course) washing dishes. Also got to spend some time chilling with
geographypirate, who sat in Lincoln Field with me eating ice cream and letting me go on and on about dancing for about two hours. Weather was absolutely gorgeous this weekend, all warm and spring-like. I rather wish I had a baseball glove on hand (hee!)...would love to go play catch for a while.
