Productivity Rules!!
So Easter break wasn't exactly a "Break" per-se, BUT it was fun. I helped my Mommy get the house ready for our Easter party. Good times. The food was AMAZING.
Today has already been extremely productive, and I've only been up for 2.5 hours. I've written a little over 2 pages on my Historical Research rough draft, with the footnotes, thanks very much ;), my laundry is washing as I write, my room is picked up (minus my desk), and I'm showered and dressed. I'm actually extremely happy it's such a yucky day outside because I don't feel about staying inside and doing work. If it were a nice day, I'd be having some serious concentration problems.
I have work from 2:30-5pm, and making money is good, I already gave up 2 hours this morning, but it was time well spent. Until then, I'm hoping to get another page or so written for my HR paper. After work, I want to get started on the book that I have to write (another) review for, and start on the lesson plans that are due this Thursday....and study for Russian History. So much to do, but I know that I can get it done!!!
Here are my thoughts about Terri Schiavo. If her husband doesn't want to take care of her, that's fine, I think he should wash his hands of her and let her parents take care of her like they want. Simply due to Common-Law they are legally separated anyway (I know this, I worked at a Matrimonial Law Firm) I also believe that it is disgusting that this country can watch her be starved and, essentially, tortured. The newspapers are saying that she is exhibiting signs of starvation and dehydration (duh) and that her doctors are saying that she is in visible pain. What I want to know is why does her "husband" want her dead so badly? Doesn't seem to innocent to me. Dave is right, this country is going down the tubes. I think that this is basically saying that since she can't feed herself, we're going to starve her. So then what about people that are severely autistic? babies? animals? A person can go to jail for starving or killing any one of those three, but Terri Schaivo's killers are walking free.
How about that.
