BIRTHDAY AWESOMENESS CONTINUES~
OMG GUYS. JUST OMG. DID NOT THINK LIFE COULD GET ANY MORE AWESOME, BUT IT DID.
I CAME HOME TO A PILE OF MAIL ON WEDNESDAY, AND FOUND THE MOST AWESOME POST BIRTHDAY PRESENT.
EVANNA LYNCH HAD SENT ME AN AUTOGRAPHED PHOTO OF LUNA LOVEGOOD.
THAT'S RIGHT, I NOW HAVE A PICTURE OF LUNA, SIGNED BY EVANNA.
OMG, LIFE IS SWEET.
I got home on Wednesday around 7pm or something, and the first thing I did was dump ALL my shit in my room, extract the chocolate from my bag and add it to the pile on my desk. XDD; Eventually I made my way out to the kitchen table with the mail pile, where I found a pile of presents waiting for me (LOL most unexpected expected surprise until then) and was all "OMG YAY PRESENTS. WHAT DO YOU MEAN I GET PRESENTS" XD because you know, for some reason they would have forgotten about me. Oh silly Sme.
But yea, I went through all the presents mum [and dad and Madison] got me, and they were really nice! I couldn't stop the massive lulz from the feathery, sparkly, blinky 21st Birthday crown they'd got me. XD But I did get a really beautiful new bag with a matching purse that I really love - it's purple with this metallic sheen or something, so it goes from darker purple to lighter swirly purple AND ITS JUST SO PRETTY. \O/ I LOVE IT.
BUT BUT BUT. That wasn't even the best part. I was going through my mail getting annoyed at all the crap, and lo and behold I find this rather large envelope with just my address on the front and nothing else. I figured it had come from the UK, since thats where the postage stamp was from, but I couldn't think who would send stuff to me. Olga certainly hadn't let me know if something had come for me.
Nonetheless, I opened it and pulled out a black and white photograph. OF LUNA LOVEGOOD. WHICH WAS SIGNED. THAT'S RIGHT. AND I PEED MY PANTS AND HYPERVENTILATED AND CRIED LIKE A LITTLE BITCH. YES, I DID, NOT GONNA LIE. I was so fucking excited, because it was the last thing on the planet that I expected to find. The only other thing in the envelope was a slip (not quite a 'with compliments') saying it was from the Harry Potter studios. ZOMFG EVANNA RESPONDED TO MY FANMAIL. *RUNS AROUND SCREAMING* EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEK.
Seriously though, I was so surprised. I sent her a letter just before I left the UK saying how fucking cool she is, and that she plays my favourite character, etc etc. I didn't include an envelope or anything, because I couldn't technically afford it I didn't really want to make her (or DanRad) feel obliged to respond, so I just put my address at the top of the letter and sent it on. So no, I didn't expect her to go out of her way to actually send me a reply. BUT SHE DID. \O/ HOW COOL IS EVANNA. SERIOUSLY, SHE WINS AT LIFE.

Also awesome Birthday gifts that I got from friends: Alivan's Wand (holly and 'dragon heartstring') and a Wand repair kit. :DDDDDDDD Helen got it for me and I practically screamed the pub down with my squeals of delight. ^_______^ I've wanted one since forever, so now that I have one I'm SO EXCITED!! ;D
My Aunt and Cousin also got me the most gorgeous pair of earrings I now own. From Wallace Bishop Jewellers, so I expect they were really expensive. >______>
Kate spent pretty much the whole day with me, and Helen drove down from Bundaberg to see me. That was probably the best present of all ♥
Oh, and I got to do Karaoke [in a private booth] for the first time in at least 3 years. WOOT, it was so much fun. Just me and Kate (later Helen arrived), but it was so much fun. Singing songs that are not quite duets together was three times more fun than anything else I could have done that day. ^_^ *huggles Kate* Gosh how I missed you love.
AAAAAAAAAAAND, pretty much for the rest of my time in Brisbane I sat around watching Merlin and Supernatural. Holy god, if there was ever crack for the soul, it would be those shows. Went over to Kate's on Sunday afternoon and watched Supernatural for hours and hours, jumping all over the Wincest bandwagon like a good little fangirl. XD; Kate found my squee's amusing, and liked that I can't shut up and say what she's thinking. *squishes* aww, I love having IRL fangirl friends. We have to do it again sometime soon Kate!! ^_^
So now that I'm back in the god forsaken hometown, it's kind of good to know that I have a box of awesomeness arriving soon, am the proud owner of awesome HP-related stuff and have Supernatural to keep me occupied. All in all, there are worse things to come home to. XD
