Crikey balls
Wow. This has been a rather alarming few days. I never thought I would not want to go home again, but after spending time in London and now in Tokyo/Yokohama, I've never wanted to go home less. D: And right before my birthday too! Oh noes!
[though, I still can't wait to see everyone at home. :D]
My three Merlin posts have the most amount of comments I think my journal (LJ, that is) has ever gotten in my life. I also discovered that some people do indeed think my reactions are amusing and that some people actually look for my reaction posts OoO LIKEZOMGWOW. I've never felt so popular! LOL It's weird having people actually read my journal too, since it's only been Kate for the longest time. XD;
I have been replying to all the comments and that has really taken it out of my hands. And I've been up for at least five hours on the net for the past three nights in Merlin fandom, but I'm now all caught up! (and caught up on the HP snark at ohnotheydidnt :D)
Spending time in Japan is really been great. It's so odd, being back. I haven't really thought about Japan much since I've been in Europe (too busy enjoying my time there), but I don't know how I'm going to cope when I get older. I'll never be able to chose where to live! D: I WANT JAPAN AND EUROPE! :(
Though I am quite annoyed that I *STILL* have not yet managed to get ahold of a One Piece 'Luffy' figurine for my windowsill. I withdrew money today specifically for that, and I went to heaps of anime-related shops BUT COULDN'T FIND ANY, ANYWHERE. WTF JAPAN, IT'S THE POPULAR THING HERE. WHY CAN'T I FIND ANYTHING? >:(
Also met up with Ayami yesterday and that was great fun. Sadly I'm going to have to ask her to repeat all the stuff we did, because I forgot all the names for everything! XDD *is hopeless*
Oh, and I met her friend and realised how bad my Japanese has gotten. DDDDX
Home tomorrow. I eat like a pig beforehand though, so I get in my cravings for Japanese food before I have to eat shitty Australian-substitutes (and my own cooking D:) before going to the airport. Oh joy.
