Alright, quick situation update.
I know I promised that I would be updating about my weekend at the Highland show. Well, that's not happening. It will in the near future, but for now that is slightly impossible.
Because my computer shit itself.
Yes, that's right, my computer decided it needed to commit suicide.
So I can't write it up outside of work hours. Not that that's going to stop me, but it's going to take longer and I still need computer access to upload photo's, etc. It'll just take a bit longer than I had hoped, so hang in there.
Computer problem = I have no fucking clue. Apparently it's a universal thing, much like the Operating System crash was last year. God Dell are really shitting me off with this. I do not need to deal with this when I'm here, thanks! I rang Support today (after freaking out when Michael told me it was no good and Mum&Dad having to consquently calm me down) and they can come out and fix it and all. But it won't be under warranty. BUT! Because it's a known issue with the graphics card (apparently Vdivia fucked up ==> NERDSPEAK), they won't charge me for the visit. Just for the parts. So that's good, I guess.
STILL IT'S SO FUCKING ANNOYING!! AND INCONVENIENT! WHAT THE HELL AM I MEANT TO DO WITH MYSELF FOR A WHOLE WEEKEND WITHOUT INTERNET??!?!
Arggh. Infuriation. At least I can stay late at work and use their internet, so that's something. But I can't get email access, which is a bitch. No matter, housemate has that. Looks like this weekend will be really productive though! I have a pile of 'Carry On' films to watch, as well as much writing to be had. You never know, I might actually do some work on my book this weekend! XD
