Still alive. Yay!
Thought I would share a comic I found on the ol' Intarwebz the other day, which sums up some of my days as teacher. I love my job, but sometimes students say the darndest things. For example:
"I wear shit to work." (Shirt)
"I could use a fuck, please." (Fork)
"I cut the cheese." (How do you change a cheeseburger to a hamburger?)
"I want to try it in various ways." (Comment by a student about studying methods with his attractive female teacher.)
"Every day is a journey." (I thought he was being philosophical, turns out he has a 2-hour train ride each way to his office.)
"I have 2 sons, 1 wife, and 2 girlfriends." (Seriously.)
And the list goes on. The one below, I have not heard, but I could imagine happening. Thank *God* I don't teach kids.
