[Travel] 2010.09.29 - Japan - Day 3 - Part 2

Oct 30, 2010 17:58

I'm getting lazy to update my part 2 of day 3!!!! The day where I go to Daibutsu (Great Buddha) temple. XD

Well and so after Hasedara I went to Daibutsu temple.

There are 2 gods on each side of the doorway. i didn't take photo of it though ^^;;

1. That's me walking down the beaches of Kamukara......................... no not me XDDDD Some poster on teh wall~
2. Another poster. But I like that poster for the side view of the Great Buddha~

The map of the temple. Acutally not that needed, the temple is quite small! ^^
And the ticket~ I lvoe it~ a picture of the Great Buddha And the photographer knows side profile of anyone always looks great XD

Wash hands~!

Now for the actual Great Buddha!! Love every photo of mine~ I can't stop taking it!! Not exactly that big, but it's good because this way you can be near to it and take a photo too!I remember just walking around in the rain with my cap on and admiring this tall metal being. =) Gotta lvoe the weather. That drizzling rain was really drizzling, small small rain. In Singapore, drizzling rain means small drops of rain, but you still need an umbrella. In Japan on this day, you don't need an umbrella!! XD

Left : A metal lotus flower. Even though it's not really, it's good you get to see it all year round! XD
Right : A small.... ball? With a big hole at the side so you can put your incense in after lighting it. I love the carvings. Ancient tstuff or graphics that gets passed down generations to generations. lvoe love love love love~!!!! May history always be easily seen and understood~! Then we can all become better while not forgetting our past~

A sitting area which I rested my legs after the long stay in Hasedara!! =) =)

Some pictures of the natural line I saw gotta love green against blue!

After which I headed on to the third temple of that day. I asked for directions for the lady at the ticket counter and she speaks english! Albeit a little hard to understand, I got my directions! Was told it iwas a 2km walk~. I though.. well I ran 2.4km in my younger days in about 15 minutes, so i should be able to make it to the temple in 30 minutes? XD I got slight unsure of which lane I should be going so I asked a man with a little girl by his side for directions and suprisingly, he speaks english! And english that I can understand~!!!! And he spoke to me in english too!! So we had a converasation in english XD and he found it quite fun  ehehehee. me too hey yo! XDDDD he was so kind be brought me all the way to near the temple. We had to go through a tunnel though. well it was fine, a small tunnel at that. And I realized that, temples in Kamakura are built mostly at base of hills or mountains. And they are usually after a long walk up a slope of residential areas and some neighbourhood shops and eateries. I don't mind though, there are beautiful houses or houses tat have beautiful plants~! :)

Then you would have to go up this (not very long but very) steep slope hill, I think maybe close to 45 degrees? It was a tiring hike up!!

And this was the entrance to the Zeniarai Benten Shrine, where people wash their money~ I didn't wash my money though, I figure since if I wanted to wash, I would wash yen. LOL which I have to exchange back to SGD after I get home so it woouldnt be of much use? XDDDDDDDDDDDDD

THe photo looks dark, but rest assure that it was still day time XD I think there is a trishaw service provided by a guy at the bottom of the hill I didn't take it though, I should have LOL XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Only 3 pictures because my handphone has ran out of battery from the constant photo taking and my phone was lacking a memory card! Only 4 photos could be taken!! 1 was of myself in the temple XD

Then a long long long walk back to Kamakura station~! which was nearer than if I had to walk back to the Great Buddha. O_O I seriously should ahve just taken the train and then walk less!!!!
XD

I was eating some finger food I had bought at the supermarket in Kamakura station while buying my ticket, and people are looking at me strangely.. Doesn't Japanese eat and walk at teh same time? O_O Singaporeans do it all the time lah!!!!!!!!!!!! O__O

And after home, I bathed( I think? XDDD) and then had dinner. Had my cup noodles I bought from teh convenience store. I really really tried to save my money. XD And watched teh TV at the same time~!!! Not really enough though. The serving was not enough for 1! I have grown to like my hotel room~ So small and yet so cosy~! I can roll around on my bed and eat on my bed too~! Ahh... such comforting things to do. :)

Many things on my bed and table and stuff! I had started packing some stuff in my luggage so I don't ahve to concentrate so hard the next day when I pack to leave!

That famous video where Cameron Diaz gave a punch to Tom Cruise and he flipped over the table behind him. Go google it XD

I was searching for machida bus center as I was thinking of booking a ticket for the bus.. but it takes 2-3 hours.. to get from machida bus center, which is walking distance from hotel, to the airport... i would rather take a train myself and be in for a definite 2 hours. so i gave up this idea in the end.. ^^

Then I got ready for Koyamama's ramen shop~!! Took train to Sobudaimae~! A last minute decision as I though I would be back in hotel late. Actually I ate my dinner already... but then XDDDDDD

Got into the train~~

And off the train~~ at Sobudaimae Station!

It's night already. Sun sets early here than home.

I cannot resist taking photos ~ XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Hey look~!! The big poster board of Arashi~!

1. Got into the lift and out.
2. It's a small place so it's not confusing. Easy to know where to get out.
3. Go to North Exit.

Some stuff I passed by while going to take the lift. You can go through these as well you just get to the same exit outside.

Public phones is green here! And a convenience shop.

Turn right. Crossed the road. Lovely lights at night. ^^

On the path on the way to KOyamama's ramen shop, you see this. Rainbow picture. I'm not sure if it is on this only path or were there other paths that has this.

Some shops across the streets~

And finally you see the big rainbow sign over your head and the yellow sign to Koyamama's shop.

Oops I just started taking photos. XD Sooryyy!! if there is any inconvenience caused to Koyamama I apologize! XD
And the signature on the poster of LIVE, Yamapi's single, and NEWS EVERY which doesn't have Koyama's face on it XDDDDDDD

Koyama's fan~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! behind some eggs XDDD

Bikini babes and others XD

Menu!!! There's one in English too so foreigners dont' feel left out XD They're basically the same thing on the Japanese menu. I ordered Ryu-men and gyoza of course~!!!!!!

I love the ramen!! It was so tasty~!!! Slightly salty though if you don't have a cup of tea to go with XD but the taste was good. I missed it right now!! Q_Q and of course her gyoza~!! I was full from my previous dinner already.... but i managed to eat them all up XD

There was a guy (the only customer) sitting to my left when I went in. And I think it was obvious that I'm not a local XD So he started speaking English to me~! *wow*. He asked me if I knew who 'this woman' was, and pointed to Koyamama. XD So I said Koyamama XDDDDDD started a small conversation about Singapore and if I was here alone and I said yes. Koyamama just went "Ohhhh wooowwww sugoiiiiii~!!!" with her eyes going saucer wide ahaha.. ^^;;

In the middle of this a very pretty lady in officewear came in, and the guy started talking to her telling her how I was a fan of NEWS and came from afar. And she spoke to me in English too. O_O I understood all of their English! *wowagain~* And she asked me who I like, pointing to the group clearfile she just bought from the concert just before, I pointed and said "koyashige and tegomass" XDDDD Then she said to me "I want to marry massu" XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD So I told her "I want to marry Shige" XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

The guy seemed amazed that I like Shige LOOOOL (as expected) and asked me why. Shige's really cute, once you put aside his old man habtis ahahhahaha.

The penlight in her small basket!! I think Koyama gave this to her!! SHfariwhfhjdsfaio76y76543uiy&*%^%$#%^#UI I get to hold the penlight from the concert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The man, whom I think is a staff at JE(he didn't say but it felt like it, like he knew I was a fan or something) asked me to join the fanclub LOL and then get all teh benefits from there XDDDD And even offered to take a photo of me holding Koyama's uchiwa and the penlight. I gladly allowed him to XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Finished the ramen!! And the gyoza!!! I love her gyoza~!! And her ramen~!! Love the thick thick sauce XD And her tea tasted exactly the same as my 1st bottle of tea I bought from the vending machine in the airport station when I reached Japan. XD

And so I went back~!!

Back in my hotel room~!! And sexy Takuya Kimura add comes on yet again for the nth time in days lol.

Some random game~! I wished I was staying in Japan though, of all the games I play~~ I would gladly sink into them ahahahha.

And my day ended in packing my luggage while watching the TV full of Takuya Kimura and Arashi ads XDDDDDDDD
