Home - Finally
Actually got in last night. Tired. Getting settled back in and re-integrated into my life and house. My dw, b_anderson has kept home and hearth together yet again while I have been off playing. It's harder for those left at home, I know. I don't deserve her, but have finally stopped questioning the fact that she is with me and loves me. I'll keep working on earning her love.
We thought, coming back two days early, we'd be able to sneak in without the entire entourage meeting us at the airport. No such luck. Still, it actually meant a lot to me, and it was very nice of the Commanding General and her group to be there for our team, and we all got big, honkin' CG coins. Too bad our Company Commander couldn't tell them our names, or introduce us to the receiving line as we came out of customs (probably doesn't actually know our names), leaving the poor LTC at the front of the line to ask; "And your name is...?" Since we travel commercially and in civilian clothes, names aren't readily apparent.
It's good to be home again.
