So...I got a tattoo. It's a lady bug on my lower back and it's representative of a very strong memory I have of my dad before he died. Therefore I feel good having it, because it has a very important meaning to me and my mom can't get too mad...even if she did, what would she do? That's great Ellie!
After my mom died I got my tatoo- not sure if you've seen it or not. Art nouveau poppies on my back, since my mom and i shared a love for that particular art movement and she always called me Poppy. I feel great about it, since I know I'll never regret getting it, since it has such meaning to me.
