Love, LOVE LOOOOVE sketches!

There's something about the freedom of finding a line, the one you were looking for, that's unique :)

YAY!

:)

There's something about the freedom of finding a line,

Ahhh...that captures it perfectly! I never really finalize sketches. Sketches is just for exercising the wrist, the freedom of finding a line...it's just a good exercise in itself, and it doesn't have to be completed.

I'm so glad you like the sketches! Expect me to post a TON of them in the future. Because I generally make a ton of sketches :D

I'm planning on doing some myself, but just on paper, to find the hand/pencil/paper feel (tablets are SO VERY close, but not the same)(not better or worse, just different), and since I'm am scanner-less atm, there won't be posting, LOL.

I suppose I'll do some digital ones too, in the end. Posting is p[art of the fun :D

I'm working on a painting right now in Corel Painter, and it's,...very interesting! It's an interesting experience, and it closely resembles actually working on an oil painting except without the mess and without worrying about where your hands are, what clothes you are wearing, etc., or worrying about getting the carpet stained...and no smell! BUT...the brushes do not quite work the way I want them to sometimes, and I can't figure out how to simulate 'cleaning' the brush, i.e. dipping it in water, although they do have "watery brush" options ( ... )

Naked is fun! ;)

Sketches are what they are, an artist's search for space and figure, they deserve a place somewhere too *nods*

I have Painter, yes :) don't remember which version, but it's great!
