snarry_games entry is DONE

What have I been doing like a mad person since the MCAT?

Painting my ass off. Like, about 15 hours a day for the last 4 days. Last night, after a marathon of probably more than 15 hours of painting straight, I finished my EPIC painting for snarry_games at 4 a.m.

The rush to get this done was epic. Towards the end, I was holding myself upright by sheer will. My brain was rapidly shutting down on me, and my forearms and wrist were becoming rapidly dissociated from my body, along with probably other perceptual aberrations. In the course of painting for four days, most of that time painting feathers, feathers, and more feathers, I found that the feathers were best when half of my mind was occupied on a movie. So I watched "Iron Man" (twice), then "The Singing Detective," "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," and "V for Vendetta," and then "Constantine." How many hours is that? All of that and more painting feathers and fabric. Not very much fabric. But more feathers.

For this piece, I chose to interpret a scene from Milton's "Paradise Lost," book 8, which is appropriately epic for this painting of epic proportions. At full resolution, this piece has a print size of 28 inches long by 11 inches tall.

Here is a preview. The final thing will be unveiled today at snarry_games! Please go and look over the amazing entries (especially by Team Cauldron, my team :D), and vote! This has been an AMAZING snarry_games, and probably the last ever!
