Played Starfox
Ya, I finally played Starfox: Assault. I completed this game in two days. I thought it was an ok game. OK, now its time for me to Review it....
First up the Graphics 9 out of 10
The Graphics were pretty good on the gamecube. I wouldn't expect anymore from this game. The levels in the game were very pretty and nice looking. The characters were pretty good looking and the starships (Arwings) looks very flashy.
Sounds 6 out of 10
The soundtrack in Starfox: Assault was amazing. It was all orchestrated. I was pumped when I heard the theme song come into play. And also StarWolf's Theme was awesome. Now for the bad part. The voice acting was pretty bad. To me the voices sounded like characters were talking in a garbage can. Also has lots of corny lines; just like all of the starfox games. Not thats its bad; its just sometimes they say the samething over and over again. An example: Krystal,"Got Them" She said that a lot on the Return to Dinosaur Planet mission. It drove me nutz...
Story 7 out of 10
The story is pretty basic. Lylat is in trouble and you have to save the Lylat system.
Controls 7 out of 10
The controls were pretty good, But sometimes you will have some trouble shooting things down at times.
Replay Value 4 out of 10
This is the bad part of the game. Most of the unlockables were in the Multi-player part of the game. You had to play a curtain amount of games to unlock weapons, 2 characters, levels for multi-player and the Wolften (Starwolf's Ship). Now for the single player story mode. You will unlock only three things. One is Play as Wolf if you collect all friend ship medals. Two, play the classic game Xevious if you collect all silver medals in story mode and finally unlock Survivor mode if you beat the game on any difficult setting. Really not that much to unlock.
overall game rank is a 6 out of 10
This game is good but really just didn't fill me up. Its just I felt very empty after getting all of the secrets. They were very easy to unlock I think. Now lets all hope that the next Starfox game will do better then this game. I know that I'm a big starfox fan its just that this game needs to have to have more. I will eventually buy the game when the price drops. Good game, but needs more.
Super Bowl Sunday. Woot. It was a very good game. Very close...I wish that the Eagles would have won. I was very disapointed. The Eagles are my favorite team. McNabb made to many mistakes. I hope next year the Eagles make it to the super bowl next year.
