Rach!

Lol I notice you got back on LJ more frequently, and yep I'm heading to Tokyo, which Steph just returned from ... haha. How are you these days!

And you are learning Mandarin??? Well just a shout out to say if you ever need practice/help, I would love to practise my Mandarin skills (it's sad that I've learnt the language since I was 7 but my proficiency in it is ridiculous).

Yishy! <3

Yeah I got caught up in Facebook for a while, so I forgot about my LJ. But now I'm reviving it. =D

I'm learning Mandarin now because it's needed in my job. Or more like, we were issued an executive order. xD I'm still a newbie, though.

Heh. You're on Facebook? Add me (or I could add you ... haha!)

I've been reading about your new job, which sounds so exciting! Are you moving to a place which requires a certain command of the language? I think the hardest part of learning Mandarin would probably be the words and the pronunciation ... though I hated learning it growing up, now I'm thanking the Gods above that I know it especially since it's incredibly useful to learning Japanese. :D

Hey Yishy! Yeah, you can add me on Facebook. I'm on Steph's list already. :x

I don't know where I'm moving to. It could be anywhere in the world. If I end up getting shipped to a non-English-speaking country, then I'll have to learn the basics 6 months before I leave and learn the rest there. For now, I'm studying Mandarin, just because it's interesting. I'm nowhere near practice conversation level yet, though. Been only learning for 2 months.~ ^o^

Haha! I'm kind of the same when it comes to Japanese ... I've been taking it for three months and I'm still at a "basic-sentence" stage when I'm conversing with my teacher, it's depressing. ._. Well, feel free to ask any questions if you need to! I really need to get my Mandarin back in shape too ... would love to go to China and stay for a while just to force myself to use it more constantly.

Added you on Facebook! :)
