Hey, someone who knows something about computer speakers...

Mine are emitting this low hum when they're off, and when they're on, this obnoxious BRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW sound and lots and lots of air is coming from the speakers...

What's wrong (besides 'it's broken')???

possible the driver is corrupter and you just need to reinstall them...

That on the other hand may actually mean that your speakers are broken...it's seems that power is still going to them when comp is off, and it's misreading the information and turning it into an audible sound...just a thought

It's like that, but ALL THE goddamn TIME!

I can't listen to music or anything. It's THAT loud.

I have to keep them unplugged, or the hum they make even when they're off makes so much noise i can barely hear the TV

Now I know hardly anything bout stuff like this, but couldn't just be that the speakers are blown? I dunno bout the noise when they are off the the loud noise when they are on could mean they are blown. On my parents old puter we had a sub woofer that blew and when u turned it on it made a horrible loud noise. Just a thought, cuz like I said I dont know much bout this.
