Atikokan, here I come.

My Country (Canada) Tis Of Thee
to the tune of the American patriotic song

My country, 'tis of thee - sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing.
Land where I plan to move, now that the US proved
it's fully theocratic and has no future left.

O Canada, I toast - British Columbian coast will be my home.
All of my comrades who hate Bush much as I do,
ought to follow me up north where we'll all live free.

Knock knock, o neighbor north, our nation's back and forth between two wrongs.
Progressives are too few, politics never new,
Pre-emptive wars and Patriot Acts
burden us with fear.

So in this circumstance, give us just one fair chance to be Canucks.
We'll bring your country brains, watch ours go down the drain,
and live in cold but liberated autonomy.
