Spruce Creek Baptist FINALLY called me back today! Woohoo!
The Pastor, Bernie Davis called me up on my cell phone a little while ago... I could actually sense he was about to call. I don't know why though.
I was talking to my friend, Luke online about my future plans in life. I mentioned that I was waiting to get a call back from them sometime... even though it had been since January since I last met with them.
I was listening to some music on my headphones, and then heard this little buzz in my ear. It was the static coming in through the speakers and my headphones... which could only mean one thing... that my cell phone was about to ring. The static got stronger, so I threw off the headphones and ran to find my cell phone BEFORE it rang. Sure enough, it rang... and it wasn't a logged number. So, my heart raced as I went to say hello. It was really static... and I could barely make out the voice... but it was BERNIE! Hooray!
Basically, to make a long story short, he said that they had been really busy lately with things around there, and they had put off planning for a while. But now that things had settled down again, they were ready to consider me and get the ball rolling with planning.
He wants me to make a resume and send it to him ASAP.
So, if anyone has any suggestions as to what I should include in my resume, feel free to write me and let me know. The more feedback the better.
