Disney this year was again a whole bunch of fun and still consider it the most amazing fursuit outing you can do. It's just the most rewarding experience being in both a magical setting and with a public audience that appreciates you so much. As a suitor I feel myself grow each time I go, not because of the size of the crowds or the difficulties of suiting in such an environment; but much more in the standard you have to ahieve. The crowds and children at Disneyland expect a perfect performance that is inviting, not over-whelming and consistent. I always try and keep the energy and performance up because in your audiences eye you're the character. Just because a girl has walked off and you're no longer interacting with her doesn't mean you can turn off until the next comes along. More that you need to keep it up so that when she turns around to have one last gimps your still the same character she met three minutes ago.
A huge thanks to Timduru and the gang for organising it again this year. I was most impressed with Tims weather controlling.. three days of forecasted rain and not one drop! Will certainly be going to Disney for Halloween next year. Only downside on this year was a 90minute wait in one of the cues and to much hand holding. Small things that were out of anyone control.
