(no subject)
So after a looooong day of messing around. We THINK we've fixed my computer. Well, we've not really fixed it. Actually, the mangled remains of my computer are outside in the rain right now. The one I'm using is a new one made from some of mine, some parts my uncle had and his old computer (his old one, which was STILL better than my piece of shit!).
So far there's not much on it. I'm a little afraid to do to much in case it doesn't work when I get home. Which, knowing my luck, is entirely probable. But... just so everyone knows... It was completely fucked.
It wouldn't let me start the computer to even see what was going on. My uncle tried to reformat it in the hopes of wiping whatever problem was effecting it. It wouldn't even let us do that! Nothing we tried worked. In the end we came up with the idea of using mine and one of his to try and make a whole new computer. Which is what he did. So far it seems to have worked. But it's a matter of waiting now. I've become amazingly suspisious of my computer. And rightly so!
Anyway... I go home tomorrow, so we'll see what happens then.
Hmm... my uncle's getting me into a game called "World of Warcraft". Odd little game, but amusing and a good time killer! Gotta pay for it though... won't be able to do that for at least a few weeks.
I've only been away from home a day and I miss my kitten! And my big comfy chair! These ones give me back ache and I can't sit crosslegged in them! I tried and got stuck....... *dies*
I need music... so badly!! I have Eminem's new song stuck in my head and that's just NOT right! If my comp works when I get home, I'm gonna have to see if I can get my music back. Or at least some of it! Oh god, okay... legs cramped up. Gonna walk it off!
