work is hard
It never seems like this stuff ends. We take one test, next week there's another along with the homework from other courses. Last week we had our MMNM test on Friday, that was tough enough. But there was thermo homework along with that. So this week we have the thermo test tomorrow. What fun huh? Then heat transfer on Monday. And then we have the stupid ass ethics paper to write for the week after. I know this is hard work but damn. I'm damn glad it's all worth it. under 1 year and 3/4 to go. As much as i love being at college, it'll be cool finally puting this to use and getting paid. hehe. I think i'll get the big ass speakers i saw at Best Buy so i can be the ass neighbor everyone hates....And throw some SEXY PARTIES.
oh here's a story for why stupid people need to be killed. First, it's not trivia or any higher math or science, just stuff that is a bit out there. You judge and tell me if i'm bein a jerk. So this saturday i dropped by Mike's place for a few games and then to back to work. So i'm there Mike's girlfriend and her friend and boyfriend, frank, alex, tim, (people i know). And a bunch of other's i don't know. We play Goldeneye. I already hate Mike's girlfriend and her friends defined the typical Northeastern image. STUPID and mostly PATHETIC. Besides I already have a girlfriend and wouldn't give another girl a glance. It's neat. i'm true to roe, no other girl concerns me. So then we had to hear. "I want to play as a Nazi" Well in goldeneye the game surrounded the Russians and took place in 1991. Okay, so not everyone knows the 007 history so i say, "The game takes place in Russia and in 1991." "So i still want to play as a Nazi." It was that know-it-all attitude that annoys the hell out of me. "Do me a favor, just don't speak." I say hoping this idiot's fest would end. I don't judge or hold grudges or anything like that, but damn, if you don't know that nazi's don't exist in russia or in the 90's just ask don't act like you know something you don't. So then I made a more direct statement, "THERE WERE NO NAZI'S IN 91 OR RUSSIA" but she KNEW it all, "Yes there were, who do you think that guy is?" I turn my head in that slow Sesshomaru (i think that's how it's spelled) style, "You dare to try my wits? If you even think for a second you can out do me, you're lying to youself." Frank and Alex were laughing it up the whole time, Frank has only been in America for 3 years and he knows there were no nazis in russia or at that time, so does Alex and everyone else in the appartment. Around that time Mike decided to stop this before all hell broke loose. "okay, uh you'd best not do that. Geo know's his stuff. Just....Don't." The arrogence returned and so did the kaiba smirk. But it wasn't over yet, "Oh okay then maybe he does, besides russia fell in 91 so maybe he's right about the nazi's" Got better yet so i had to keep going, "You made such a big deal of graduating college a year ago, you must know a lot...Tell me, did financial aid cover REFUND? That was cold war and that happened about 45 years ago. Are you sure you're not thinking of the BERLIN WALL." Got cursed at for minute or so not really caring and got down to some goldeneye.
I'm not saying everyone needs to know thermo, but please, Nazi's in Russia in the year 1991? tell me I'm not alone in this rant.
But it's just the attitude up here. I'm always up for a good debate but not when dealing with someone who would debate you with a one sentence case and say "i win" Thank god i met roe and can have an actual debate with.
Oh dan, the heat's back on. WANNA TURN UP THE HEAT...LET'S BURN.
