Back from vacation best time ever pt 1

I know i don't do this that much, but summer is boring, nothing much happens, work, beach, road trips around the state, stuff like that. But I just got back from vacation what a time that was. The month of August is the best month of the year.

The first few days we had heat waves come through. That was fun because I could take off at warp speed...Where i went....I didn't exactly plan, but i ended up in Cape May, then steamed north to Atlantic City. Heh that was fun because I was out running a storm. It caught up to me because Atlantic City is a maze of...STUFF. For me, hauling ass isn't fun unless it's 85+ and BLAZING sun. NO clouds and the best time is between 3 and 7pm. The sun is more of an orange/gold shade and makes me think of that song from F-zero64 the stage SILENCE. But I think i do drive too fast. The next day i drove to AC across RT 30 so i could get the view at night of the city from over the bay and wet grounds. I guess it was the thought of finally seeing Roe that made me drive all over for some reason it helps me think when I'm on the road. I have no idea why.

Shortly after it was the night of our trip to Texas. We had to wake up at 4am (the car was already packed) Funny that, I didn't even have a chance to sleep. But seriously, are you really surprised? The flights were alright, we had to change planes at Orlando. Slept on all of them the shortest trip ever. Landing in Houston felt strange. I felt so close to Roe and it sucked not being able to run up and get her then and there. We then grabbed the rental car and took off for Beaumont to see some of the history. They had a cool museum of all the celeberties to come out of the area, there were quite a few of them. We stayed at a cool hotel LaQuita inn. It was pretty nice, we hung out at the pool for a while and then we went to a BBQ restaurant. I had a plate of three different meats, but there BBQ sauce was awesome good stuff if you ask me.

The next day we headed for Galveston, and saw the history of the storms that had come through and destroyed the place several times before. It was called the strip where all the shops are located and restaurants. Later we headed for the hotel and got to drive along the beach. It didn't look too bad. Roe said it was a dump but it didn't look all that bad. Can't be worse than some of the beaches we have. heh. Galveston beach was clean but ours have idiots who leave their trash laying around and don't care. We ate at a place called Sawgrass. A steakhouse and bar. we all ate steak of course but now little tim has to order beer hehe. After what happened at Mikes a few months back... That could have been real bad. Didn't get a bit of sleep that night. The suspense was too much to imagine. Tomorrow I would finally lay eyes on Roe for the first time ever (in real time). The girl i love was less than a day from meeting. Our experience is getting it's own entry. that's going to be VERY LONG. Best days of my life.

I'll get to that next, but now i must start hauling all my stuff to my dorm room, the great people at ResLife thought it would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO smart to have everyone move in the day BEFORE classes start. Great, several thousand students moving in, it's a work day so all i have is my car, mom's van is at work. yeah, this'll be FUN. Missing Roe so much now i just wish i could have hid her in the suitcase and brought her home. It worked on Ocean's 12.

Screw you ResLife.
