Master post for Amber
Here I will be linking every post that has anything to do with my efforts to write Third Amber Chronicles. If you are wondering what I'm talking about, I'll give you a brief summary.
Once there was a writer, his name was Roger Zelazny and sadly he died in the summer 1995. Thing is he had written a number of absolutely brilliant books and the one that got my utmost attention and love was CHRONICLES OF AMBER. I remember reading it as a kid and falling for it very very hard. I got no intention to make a profit out of it in one way or another. (So I saw three or four actually published "books" that used the idea without any legal right, I wonder how they managed it). Anyway I'm writing for pleasure and because I just can not not-write. So I guess it is a fan-fiction of a sort. I know there is opinion that no one has a real right to use that world beside late Master himself... Well... But there was a sequel in early 00 and it was... you-know-what-i-am-talking-about :( I waited and waited and no one wrote nothing that would meet my idea of sequel. And as someone said, probably C.S.Lewis, if no one else writes it, write it yourself. SO here am i, following that advise :)
I do not know where that path will take me, but I ask you all for help and assistance, because:
a) English is by no means my native language
b) I need people to tell me when I will be unfortunate enough to write OC, Mary Sue etc... SO please tell me if I am mistaken in any way or form
c) even if I don't have one hundred plot bunnies, there are forks in the road and I will need advise
CHARACTERS
Each name will in time lead to separate entry about said character. It’s not complete, if you see a point in discussing any of them - drop a comment. And yes, there are few dead one. Because there are such entities as Pattern/Logrus Ghosts, and partly because there will be timetravel .
