If any of you out there that read this journal are going through hard times, I want you to know that the best thing you can do is pray. Seriously, turn to Christ in both good and bad times. I think part of the reason why people are allowed to suffer the way they do is so through that pain, they will turn and have a deeper faith in the one that can ( Read more... )

A comforting thought indeed....but not so easily pursued by those who feel pain so strong it makes them nauseous.

Losing Allison felt like being damned by God himself. No warranted reason nor explanation....just severed...without care or remorse. When the person you trust and care for so much betrays you or does their best to rip you out of their life...trust in anything else seems impossible. We are set upon these journeys of pain to arrive at two endings. To heal neatly and without blemish or warped flesh...to mend wounds so that all is better....or to heal with a scar that you will live with the rest of your life. I have to decide now whether to wait patiently for the wounds to heal so that me and Alli can talk again..bleed slowly and meandering in and out of madness....or just forget her altogether to save myself from myself...and live with only memories of a great friend I once knew...and forever with the pain the things ended like they did.

One path is harder...and has a better ending...

One is easier.....as is less than desirable at the end...

I understand how you feel. Someone was ripped so brutally from me without reason that I despaired life itself and almost ended my own life. Keep holding on. God gives us a great assurance of something better. Sometimes, that something better comes in this life, other times we have to wait for the best. Either way, God promises to see us through our pain and assures that it is well worth it in the end. I'm praying for you. If you need to talk, I'll listen and try not to be the jerk I'm notorious for being. :)
