Post Holiday Slump
We got back from our grand NYC trip on Wednesday and work promptly decided to go completely insane *sigh*. So much so that it already feels like I've been back a month. This is inauspicious for the next several months, but that's a rant for another time. . .
Our trip was FANTASTIC. The time with my family was a bit difficult at times, almost completely due to some amazingly bad behavior from The Boyfriend, but everything else was great. I'm hoping to do a couple of posts over the next week or so to give you guys more full thoughts on:
1. The QM2 Crossing
2. NYC with my family
3. NYC with electrichobbit & aristos1
4. Further thoughts on the Kindle
This post is short because I'm going to turn around now and do some serious editing of pictures. I have four weeks to get the backlog completely cleared before classes start. Look for those posts over the next couple of days too.
I know I've been completely absent from twitter - this is almost entirely due to work. I don't have access to my wifi service in the building and I'm lucky if I have a chance to think about lunch let alone go outside for it. This means that I will be buying myself an iphone for my birthday, assuming I can wait that long. . .
Otherwise, I think I've caught up on reading what you guys have been up to, but feel free to sign-post me to particularly important posts/events that I may have missed.
