One of the tricky things about writing about a fairly long and busy vacation is that it is difficult to know where to start; not only does everything begin to run together, but there is just so much to say, and a post like this can easily start stretching into several pages. Hey Chaundra.
Well it was a pleasure to show you and Steven around in Malmo. You remeber those "strange" signs that we saw at the Malmo Castle?? they were a part of the Nelson Mandela exhibition they had. =)
SO glad to hear that I'm not the only one being disappointed in Stockholm =) I moved there some 20 years ago but couldn't stand the place for longer than 6 months, still can't understand that place. =) Looking forward to seeing your shots from the trip.

Ahhh ok that makes much more sense if those were part of the Mandela exhibit.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out what it was about Stockholm that left me so underwhelmed, but haven't been able to put my finger on it. . .ah well. Hope to have pictures trickling out soon!

Speaking of Talinn, apparantly they have some of the best food in the region. I was listening to a podcast that mentioned they got their first Michelin star last year too. Such an interesting place, and we can't wait to go back.

I haven't seen Sven's picture! Do you have a link?

Sounds fabulous although I'm still not convinced about a cruise I have to say.

Particularly interested in your descriptions of Helsinki as visiting Finland has been a lifelong ambition of mine. But especially I must go to Tampere to see the Moomin Museum

Cruises have their pluses and minuses, and one of the minuses is the sheeple (at least on the big lines). If you can be comfortable totally ignoring them, then you're set to go really.

I have never heard of Moomins. Interesting.
