albeit still on dial-up. This. Is. Getting. Old. Seriously, seriously old. But what can one do when you are at the mercy of BT. If you ever move to the UK, whatever you do don't miss that window of opportunity when BT is already out futzing about with your line, because if you do they won't be arsed to come do it again. I'm literally almost starving for more variety in human contact (though a nice day out yesterday with Ms. Frog and Boy helped very much). For others wanting to help with the socialisation situation, invites for the housewarming are going out soon!
Anyway, our flat is coming along nicely. All the furniture is put together, in place and starting to get some use - and it only took us two days. We still have some stuff to get (under bed storage, baskets for the kitchen, some kind of storage arrangement for the bathroom), but otherwise we're nearly there. Of course, once that's done, we get to start decorating which is the truly fun bit. I'm thinking lots of colour to celebrate not be restricted to red and black in all its lovely variety. Not that I dislike red and black, but it can be monotonous. So yes colour for us.
Work is. More bankers, more deals, more arguing about money. No change really. New minion is still fab, that helps.
Unfortunately, have not been reading or watching many films due to the flat organisation, but I would just like to put out a recommdendation for Almodovar's
Volver. Lots and lots of fun, and some really great one liners.
Ok, back to the unpacking. Miss you guys lots.
