Naked Lear - just not in Singapore
As I found out in this article. Now, I had no clue that King Lear had a nude scene in it. Am now more than a bit curious - I wonder which one it will be?
And, yes, R and I have tickets for the London run in January. In fact, we're seeing it as a part of our anniversary date. =) Not sure that seeing Sir Ian naked is really part of R's ideal universe - will just have to remind him that people who come to the theatre to see Shakespeare expect to have the whole of life revealed to them.
I can only imagine those words were uttered with tongue firmly lodged in cheek. In fact reading it makes me uncontrollably giggly. . .
