Well... that was embarrassing
While I was trying to help two students last night, my fingers started bleeding from my psoriasis when I was trying to write some equations down for them. The students were... well... I guess it's more accurate to say that they were "surprised" and not "distressed". Still, the conversation went something like:
Guy: "Oh, wow... you're bleeding. What's wrong with your hand?"
Me: "Oh... uh... it's nothing. It's..."
Girl: "Oh my, were you burned?"
Me: "No... um... it's just..."
Girl: "Was it the cold?"
Guy: "Did you scrape it against something?"
< sigh > It took like half a minute before I explained what it was.
Shit. I'm going to go hide now.
Guy: "Oh, wow... you're bleeding. What's wrong with your hand?"
