Preliminary blood test came back and I have extremely elevated sugar levels... possible side effect of the prednisone or possible... < groan > diabetic condition, similar to what happened to me when I was 16.
It's high enough where my rheumatologist talked to me personally and urged me to talk to my primary care physician right away about starting insulin immediately and switching my diet over right freakin' now.
I thought I freakin' overcame this more than a decade ago. Now it's fuckin' back! Gawds dammit, I HATE this. I hate my body. And I hate how this is probably going to kill my school/work over here.
Worse of all, though, is not the crippled thing, constant medications, constant psoriasis... I HATE how I have virtually no one here.
Between all of this, I need to figure out how to finish my master's, keep my pilot license, and get the hell out of here to where I have friends and medical insurance.
