While I went clubbing with John and Aaron, they played a song that I really loved. In the darkness, flashing lights, mist, pressed up bodies, high energy, and emotion in the air... it was a very intoxicating moment on the dance floor. One of those moments that my heart was literally pounding to the base of the song.

I never really paid much attention to the lyrics. But tonight, after feeling like absolute crap after my flight, I heard this on radioalice. It brought me back to that moment on the dance floor with all those people and I realized how emotionally caught up in it I got. I looked up the lyrics and realized I loved this song even more!

You know, there are times when I tell my friends that my "hopeless romantic" side got beaten out of me by some fairly horrible girls. But when I listen to this and feel the way I do, I realize that maybe there's still the heart of a romantic still beating in this chest of mine. Hopefully... this means that I haven't given up hope on ever finding someone!
