It's been a while since I put down something worthwhile here, so here goes :)

No, a year ago I couldn't do it either...and I'm not kidding you, it's all in the mind and...training.

Hmm.. I guess so.. I'm right now training to run faster and faster (treadmill) for longer and longer times. Let's see if I can maintain my enthusiasm and get to a decent speed for a decent amt of time or not ;)

Cool. Helps to have a target, like a race or a half-marathon you want to take part in. It keeps you going. Do remember treadmill != running outdoors...and will probably be more difficult outdoors.

Oh absolutely. I am not training for competition though. Only to improve fitness and to see if I can :D

Yeah, I didn't do the race for the sake of competing (although I did compete a bit hehe) but the fact that I had something to take part in, helped me train for it is what I meant :) Made it that much easier to push harder..because there was an event coming up.
