Five Things
(1) SURVIVOR HOW ARE YOU SO GRATE. Like- okay, the people playing the game, yes, but frankly, I would watch an entire show of Jeff reading from the phone book. MISTER PROBST I LOVE YOUR STUPID FACE.
Also, YES PLZ for the "minorities alliance". And not just because Brenda's the prettiest princess in that tribe.
Also, yes, Shannon, ALL THE GAYS COME FROM NYC. Good for you to notice! We breed them here.
I cannot even talk about the old people team, except to say that it's like Holly is TRYING to convince me that Russell had a comparatively solid social game, and that I appreciate the way she's throwing herself under the bus so that Jimmy Johnson can last. I JUST NEED HIM TO LAST TIL JURY, OKAY? HE CAN BE THIS SEASON'S ELIZA.
(2) HELLCATS HOW ARE YOU MAGICALLY EVEN GRATER??? Marti continues to irritate me- although less than she did in previous weeks, just because they showed her actually wanting to be a lawyer- but I am so incredibly on Team Savannah it's kind of ridiculous. Her FAAAAAAAACE. I love how much ATizz is pretty much playing just the Joanne role from Stick It. SHE IS FANTASTIC AT IT.
Also gay. Wow, when Marti was like "What can I do to help you calm down?", I... cannot say "Come on a date with me! :D?" was my first assumption, but it was not nearly as far as I'd expected the assumption to be! OH MARTI/SAVANNAH. I mean, Savannah could totally do better, but she seems like she really likes Marti, so I'm on board with that right now!
Can someone point me to the piles of Marti/Savannah fic that obviously already exists because if it doesn't THE UNIVERSE IS A LIE?
(If there isn't any, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO WRITE ME SOME IN THE COMMENTS.)
Also, I am so stupidly proud of myself for recognizing that guy playing the guy. Like, I cannot even express how accomplished I feel that I was like "Hey, isn't that the dude from Queer as Folk?" and it WAS and I am stuck in \o/ mode now.
(3) I have been listening to the Indigo Girls a lot lately. "Kid Fears" is my number one ideal HUNGER GAMES soundtrack song right now. In case you were wondering.
(4) Any Australians out there have a favorite online retailer? I'm thinking I may have to place a Melina Marchetta order overseas so that I get GORGON asap (...shut up, it's totally healthy of me, SHUT UP) and I'd love to hear if any of y'all love one above all the others.
(5) This weekend is Sharktopus time. I would pretend to be embarrassed at how excited I am about this, except frankly, none of y'all would believe me. I wouldn't believe me either. I'm thinking I would do some kind of cardstock Sharktopus project in preparation, but I can't think of anything that would be appropriate.
