OH MAN I MEANT TO MAKE THIS POST YESTERDAY AND TOTALLY FORGOT.
Jellicoe Road is now available in paperback in the US! It has the uglier American cover, and an ugly sticker the shiny Printz medal on it, but it's paperback, which means it is both more portable and more affordable, if you are interested in reading it!
Here, I will help you:
UNITED STATES
CANADA:
I should note that it is definitely possible for Americans to order from the Canadian sites, if they want the prettier cover. I mean, it's more expensive because of the shipping, but some people might think it's worth it. *coughs*
I should also note that I actually think the American cover for Finnikin of the Rock is quite pretty, possibly more than the Australian one, but that both would benefit from the presence of Evanjalin.
I was reminded of this, because today
Melina Marchetta guest-blogged on Justine Larbalestier's website! It is about her dealbreaker issues with fiction- her anti-story-kinks, basically. IT IS PRETTY AWESOME AND YOU SHOULD ALL READ IT, EVEN IF YOU FOR SOME REASON HAVE NO INTEREST IN JELLICOE.
My only problem with that post is that it says Piper's Son comes out next March in the US. NEXT March! And it's only THIS March! This is punishment for the way we don't take your country seriously, isn't it? :(
Have I made a rec post for Finnikin yet? I should do that. I reread it Tuesday night, and want to discuss it, but so far the only discussion has been me flailing at
penmage a lot.
