Finn does not just look like a gorilla when he dances, he looks like one ALWAYS. And it frustrates the hell out of me, because nearly every other dude on the show is a better singer, dancer, or both.
Tonight's episode left me EVEN MORE CONFLICTED, because I genuinely like a lot of the storylines, but everything even remotely related to Shue makes me angry. I thought that Emma giving Mercedes the solo was a pointed thing, but it looks like it wasn't, and that irritates the crap out of me. Also the way he ~relates~ to Finn. Also the way he left his wife, BECAUSE HE IS A SELF-INVOLVED DOUCHEBAG.
*coughs*
I don't want to be this angry! I want to have those moments where I love the show and it leaves me all choked up like it did when they sang Don't Stop Believing for the first time!
and why is FINN always the real star? he looks like a gorilla when he dances.
Teehee! I think that he looks more like a person in a gorilla suit though, trying to pump up the crowd at a half-time show or something.
I watched last night's episode and the 10 year old in me who craved happy endings though how unlikely was all overjoyed.
Where as the 30something cynic was dissappointed in the writers for creating an easy resolution to the Shue/Pillsbury thing, and for the happy ending crap,
I know, conflicting.
What sold me on the episode though was Rachel's ballad.
HOLY SHIT.
I've seen the original version quite a few times and SHIT she gave a great performance, the original artist would be proud.
Really starting to think that all this "Rachel is the star" nonsense is actually a real-life obsession with her voice that the writing team has with the actress that plays Rachel (too lazy to google her name). They think she's awesome, so the world and all the characters should too.
