If you believe that people are being unfair to Roman Polanski, because I guess raping a child is only a problem for humorless feminists or whatever, kindly GTFO of my LJ. I don't have a ton of standards around here, but that one's pretty solid.

I've long thought that we should have gone and got him when he fled, and put him in a deep, dark hole. My opinion on that score has not changed.

The reaction of the Hollywood "liberal" community-105!?!-is absolutely disgusting. No, this isn't a case about "morals". This is a case about a man who raped a 13 year old girl and then fled for over 30 years to avoid punishment.

This is one of those times where I seriously don't buy that there's a good reason to be on the opposite side of an issue. He RAPED a CHILD. Period.
