In my ridiculous daydreams about being a rock star, sometimes I lead the crowd in a rendition of Sing. That song is so awesome.

I didn't have a very muppet-filled childhood (I remember watching Mr. Rogers a lot more than Sesame, even though I know I liked Sesame), but I did have a cassette tape about Bert trying to take a bath and, like, the entire neighborhood coming into his bathroom all "HAY WHAT'S UP? :DDD" "OH HEY, THE ACOUSTICS ARE GREAT IN HERE! :DDD" "HAS ANYONE SEEN GORDON? OH THERE YOU ARE! :DDD" while Bert was all "I AM TRYING TO TAKE A BATH HERE PEOPLE! >:(" And at the end they all sang Sing and it's stuck with me all these years.

I had that on vinyl! I got someone to make me a CD copy of it a couple of years ago, but it's terrible quality. Worth it for the Count singing his neverending "Bats in the Belfry" song. :)

Here's most of my Muppets stuff (I am still trying to find a Jay & Silent Bob/Muppets crossover I could swear I wrote) and the Highlander/Muppets stuff elekdragon wrote. *beams*

Bunsen/Beaker

The Muppets doing porn.

Critical Critics (Statler/Waldorf)

And Lek's Highlander/Muppets fics.
It's Not Easy Being Immortal (Highlander/Sesame Street) and The Four Horsemen of Sesame Street (Highlander/Sesame Street).

I can't believe it's been that long. I just looked through my "Life" magazine with Kermit on the cover. I still have the SF Chronicle editorial cartoon that had Sammy Davis Jr. and Jim Henson in the clouds looking over Sesame Street and 42nd Street.

::weeps::

Jim Henson is the reason I write - because when I grew up, I wanted to be a reporter like Kermit THE Frog.
