Man, you guys, media. My media cup overfloweth.
Which... sounds like it should be dirty, but isn't.
Last night's Big Brother... I knew what was coming, I knew most of the plot points, but it was entertaining anyway.
The editors fucking HATE Jen, don't they? I mean, seriously, that was impressive levels of hate I haven't seen since... well, Amber. But, wow. That took them not a lot of time at all.
I heart Amanda's edit, because it's accurate but it's also not, you know, calling her a fucking whore the way half the fanbase is.
House is still bitter that Jen called Ryan a racist, rather than at Ryan for BEING a racist. Meanwhile, last night, James casually used a
very bad racially charged word, thus making the racism issues EVEN MORE BLATANT, especially since someone on BBUK got thrown off for that. Oh, my hypocritical attention whore darlings.
Also we now have video evidence of James both giving and receiving blow jobs with dudes. So, you know, classy.
I'm glad Chelsia and James got HOH, and I hope that the producers are fixing the veto comp for Amanda to win AS WE SPEAK. The problem this season is that several guys are, from a drama POV, expendable, but Amanda, Natalie, Chelsia, Allison, Sheila, and Sharon? We have fake lesbians, bitter grudges, huge rivalries, lots of nudity... I mean, really, there is no one in this house who, from a drama perspective, deserves getting evicted.
This was such a great reworking of this comp. How brilliant: They have to choose what everyone else will think, but they also HAVE TO DO IT. This is like the graveyard veto comp combined with Majority Rules combined with MY UNDYING LOVE.
Jen was totally not expecting that eviction, which, awesome. Also- Jen. Honey. NEVER PREDICT WHAT AMERICA WILL THINK. It will always bite you in the ass.
Parker's "I'm sick of people's dumbass assinine ass comments" is my favoritest line of the week, and is now the title of my flist. Oh, Parker, One of Only Three Guys I Can Identify By Sight. I hardly knew ye. Now it's just Crazy James and Crazy Eyes.
I'm also disapointed he's gone because, you know, he had the Orange County sweatshirt! There was a tacky OC pun to be made into an icon just WAITING for me, and I missed it.
Now the only icon I am planning is a Sheila/Allison lesbians! icon, but I cannot decide on the best text for it, so it waits.
Last night's Project Runway reunion show? Man, this is like crack.
I love the montage. This shoiw excels at montages. The montage of fierceness was probably my favorite, but. Montage of Chris laughing! References to Rami draping! Heidi being mean!
Tim's diva name... guys, I love him.
Honestly? I love everyone.
I don't have anything smart or deep or anything to say about this one, honestly, because I pretty much spent the hour in an advanced stage of squeeflail. Oh, editors deities, are all AWESOME.
Also, I approve of the evictions on this show, because by and large? Early evictions were boring people I didn't care about. (Obvious exceptions apply.) I'm just sad we didn't see Jillian as a bitch earlier. Bitchy Jillian is AWSEOME.
Last night's In Treatment. I- guys, I don't even know. This show keeps getting better and better.
The newest Sophie is KILLING me. I actually have to watch it in, like, five-minute increments, because it's so well done that it hurts. And when you put all the episodes together, when you stop and watch them together- which I think I will be doing tonight before Survivor at some point- there's even more; just watching week to week, I'm picking up on lots of it, and I feel like there are even more that I haven't noticed yet.
God, SOPHIE. With the casual references to the eating disorder, and the guy who said that she fucked like someone who's been sexually abused, and... Christ, you guys.
I love that we've seen Paul, as himself, come through in some of the Laura plotline, and it's been largely as a human being with sexual desires, but then you see him here, and with that "Prick." he is just- he's a dad, and it seemed more parental than in all of the times he's talked about his three kids.
The end- Christ, you guys. I somehow didn't think they'd go there. I don't think I even follow what she was saying towards the very end. Although I'm pretty sure there's fic in it somewhere.
You know, it's Thursday, so my favorite plotline is Sophie's- and last night's would be hard to top- but Monday through Wednesday it tends to be Laura and Alex, and Friday onward it tends to be Paul and Gina. And of course they all play into each other, which makes me even happier.
Would anyone be interested in a fannish comm about it? And, I mean, I should rephrase: if I were to create a comm for it, would anyone join, would anyone design, would anyone co-mod, etc. Because I don't want to get into it on my own, but...
This SHOW. I cannot stop flailing.
And tonight? Survivor!
...I know I focus on TV so that I don't have to deal with other things that actually matter. But how can I not, when the TV is THIS AWESOME?
