I prefer to think of it as "task-oriented".

So, you know, because I'm brilliant, I took pretty much all of my holiday-ish DVDs out of their cases and into a small case just for this. As one could expect, I have lost it. Luckily, I am a far, far dumber person than you'd think I was even capable of being, and for several shows, I put the wrong disc in the case. So I have been able to get a bunch of others.

That was... several hours ago.

So this is where I am now.

  1. Generosity and warmth are common themes throughout the holiday season. But not in the Big Brother house! Tears and bitterness are more often the case. Welcome... to the Cutthroat Christmas. Santa has left six gifts for the houseguests, one of which is the golden power of veto. Whoever demonstrates the most skill in the fat man's favorite winter pasttime of curling could unwrap the veto.

    God, I love my show.

  2. I only have the first and fourth seasons' holiday episodes of The OC saved. This shames me. Especially because I am in the mood to see "The Chrismukkah Bar Mitzvah-kah". Possibly a library run is in order.

  3. The worst thing about watching VMars is that season one is still really really good. I love the visuals, I love the acting, I love pretty much everything except the amazing way it crashed and burned so completely by the end.

This makes watching "One Angry Veronica" doubly hard. It's got some moments I love, and then... Well, my post from its original airing still stands. "Innocent until proven guilty" is not the same as "Guilty until proven innocent". I mean, seriously.

  4. In season two of Roswell, Max tells Isabel that she's his family. In season three, Max tells Liz that she's his family. How do people not see that there is something sketchy here?

  5. Gilmore Girls! Oh, you are so fluffy and fuzzy and awesome. And Christmasy! And delightful. Thank you for being awesome.

  6. In the season two Felicity episode "Portraits", they pan from a lit menorah to Officer Grunberg- er, "Sean", whatever- making a bacon sandwich. It was maybe the best moment of my life, if by "my life" you mean "the latter half of this morning".

  7. Dear WB: I miss you so much it hurts sometimes. I know this seems like it doesn't relate, but I think it was the one time when I actually WAS a network's demographic, and I still love everything they made, and man, I miss the days when THESE were the teenagers on television. Oh, Keri Russell. Who gave you permission to be a grown-up?

  8. So, just so I'm clear- we get absolutely no December on Heroes, right? Because it's October, then February, right? Because I feel that means someone should write the story of how Matt and Mohinder get together during Chanukah. (This is different from the Chanukah Miracle Magic Baby fic I'm writing, because they are already together then.)

  9. If anyone can watch "Six Southern Gentlemen of Tennessee" without crying, you are stronger than me. And/or you have no soul.

  10. Hey, so, um, did you guys remember that the second season Christmas episode of Popular is right in the middle of the arc where Brooke gets hospitalized for her anorexia? Cause I totally didn't! How... great.

And now I am shaking, possibly because my blood sugar is low, so I'm just going to end this post and go grab a snack.

But. TV! Awesome!

That is all.

tv: felicity, tv: the oc, tv: heroes, tv: sports night, tv: popular, tv: the ros, tv: vmars, tv: wb old school, tv: big brother 8
