Random things! Hi!
- I posted a Grounding of Group Six fic to picfor1000: The Complexities Of Photography Regarding Abandoned Cabins, And Not Necessarily Sex. If you don't know the novel, I think (hope?) it functions kind of as origfic. But, whatever. It made me happy! And I finished it! That is what matters. (Up next: femslash07.)
- The compliments from the compliment meme continue to make me almost weepy with joy. I'm not done replying to all of you who posted it your own selves, but. I hope even MORE of you do. Because I would like to pay back how happy you all made me.
- I am watching today's ANTM right now. My love for this show is as great as the hate shared by Omarosa and Janice. Which, I assure you, is a LOT.
- There is so much Grey's cast controversy again! I mean, look at this. Katie Heigl walks out of contract negotiations! Everyone hates Kate Walsh for getting a spin-off! I cannot believe Grey's doesn't have a larger RPF community, seriously. (If any of you need Grey's RPF prompts? I am RIGHT HERE FOR YOU.)
- I also have Grey's fictional plot ideas. The only reason I'm not writing them is that I have shame. (If you think I'm making this up, you are not one of the people who has heard me talk about the preschool AU.)
- Speaking of Grey's fic, I think someone should rec GA on crack_van. Not me, because I pretty much read basically nothing because I trust no one. But someone who DOES read a lot, should start reccing it. Yes.
- I feel bizarrely detached from the CW. Like, I liked last night's VMars a lot; I'm loving tonight's ANTM. But I can't figure out the network's mission/vision statements, I don't get why the network functions the way it does right now. I'm intensely confused by all of it. This is made more prominent by my pure and true love of the late-nineties-WB. (I had a dream last night that I became an avid viewer of Supernatural and One Tree Hill. The dream hinged on a Crawl-like video with CMM giggling at something Michelle Williams had said, and Jensen Ackles with Keri Russell. I leave interpretation of this up to the viewer.) I feel like the network has all this potential, and watching it squander it is just kind of depressing.
- That said, their individual ads are fascinating to me; I don't actually own a single Pussycat Dolls MP3, but the odds of me watching keep rising. I know, I know. In fairness, YOU KNOW I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE.
- I'm fucking starving today, which is annoying. Luckily, M&M cookies are god's gift to... well, me. Mmm, cookies.
- Today I got spam from one "Meredith Monroe". This would would be much funnier and far less sad if I didn't think it was possible that was how she was making ends meet at this point.
