Sci-Fi is the only channel that when I watch I don't fast-forward through the commercials. I might miss a promo!

And you should watch Eureka - wacky super-geniuses are LOVE.

Will I be okay getting into it with just any random episode?

Yes, though the finale is a little more continuity-heavy than the rest. I did an overview a few weeks ago - *looks for it* - here - but basically all you need to know is that it's a town full of geniuses, except for the sheriff who just moved there with his daughter. Also, Laura Roslin's girlfriend/coteacher is the Deputy and kicks ass.

SciFi.com informs me there will be a marathon on November 23. I am trying to figure out if it's worth just waiting til then.

Decisions are HARD.

(Larva is on right now! LARVA!

Well, the first season is over and they won't be coming back for a long time I bet (*makes big sad face*), so there's certainly no hurry.

From what I can gather, on Nov 23 they're running the entire season, start to finish. Twice. Which means perhaps they're debuting SOMETHING Eureka-related then, as well.

Or maybe just that hey like marathons. WHO KNOWS. Such is the beauty of Sci Fi.
