Let it be known I did not just stay home watching the feeds all day.
I went to Harvard Square, then to Copley, then home, on a process that took, all told, over 3.5 hours.
Sure, my two major purchases were tiny devil ducks and tiny gnomes (...There are like three of you who know why, and yes, it's EXACTLY what you think), and sure, I spent a goodly part of my time away from home on the phone with juliedarling demanding live feed updates.
But I left the house AND found new places!
Tomorrow I am going to try to wake up before 11 or so, so that I can go out and find the Stop n Shop I think is less than half an hour walk away, buy myself some fucking sherbert, because without it I bought ice cream with apple pie in it today and I can't stop eating it and that's maybe bad. And then get home in time to watch the Emmys. And finish my new art project, which I probably should not have started til after I had taken video of my room, but right now I am VERY BUSY creating the BB7 flames out of cardstock to go over my bed.
...Shut up.
Anyway, I'm updating this because it has been TWO AND A HALF HOURS and VETO HAS STILL NOT ENDED and JESUS FUCK, BIG BROTHER ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME? I think like 1/4 of my buddy list is ready to permanently block me, due to my IMing of "IT'S NOT OVER YET HOW IS IT NOT OVER YET WHAT IF THEY KILLED JANEY OMG OMG OMG". It is VERY STRESSFUL. I do not know how you people who have had feeds longer DEAL with--
