A heavy sigh can be heard after some shuffling.

I'm sorry Artemis, I'm just angry. Someone is going to get harmed because of this thoughtless idiocy and it angers me.

Once I talk with Lily things should be fine. She seems to have a good head on her shoulders.

As for the party - more shuffling and a long pause. it would seem the previous plans aren't going to work with what her friends seem to be doing. We'll have to make alternate plans.

I also doubt that Lestat will be in attendance. Matters have escalated with him to a rather dangerous point.

They're only children, and by their actions, thoughtless ones. To do something this .... even I wouldn't do something of this nature, and I have to be one of the most idiotic of us all.

One would think that after all this time she'd know us better then this.

I don't think she even realizes. This damage is far deeper then she may be able to handle. Well ... I have mixed thoughts on that.

Exactly. I believe the damage is far greater then perceived. As much as I believe in her strength, I wonder that she can handle this.

Correct. The woman's work is not exactly present. I would return the favor if I did not know I was far outmatched. One is hard pressed to go against one of that nature.

When all the illnesses were about I caught ebola, the prominent symptom was hallucinations. I thought that Lucifer had sent me to find the red death and, in my idiocy I went down to the Underground.

I came across one of the residents who happened to not play nice. Lestat took care of me however. I'm afraid I would have died if it weren't for him.
