(no subject)
well, let me tell you. it has been a wilderness girl weekend!!
tommy, pat and i paddled the coosa on saturday. it was beautiful weather and i swam only twice (and not in the same spots!). patrick took the surf board and tried to surf moccasin gap...he did get up for about 2 seconds!! :) and last night patrick and i went to napoli II. we are really excited because before this one opened we had to travel to wetumpka for the best eggplant parmasan. we had wine and listened to the live piano music...it was romantical. and TODAY! patrick, tommy, roxanne, lulu magic, puppy and myself went tuskeegee national forest and hiked around and played in the water. we saw: a turtle, lots of tadpoles, a pollywog, frogs and these crazy looking fish called gar (sp?). they have long, narrow spotted bodies and have long narrow snouts which (according to tommy) have lots of teeth (!).
tonight patrick and i are going to the capri to see csa (confederate states of america). i think it's a mockumentery about what would have happened had the south won the civil war and slavery was still around. should be interesting.
i saw elephant the other day and didn't like it. has anyone else seen it? what do you all think?
