Ner... guess where I am, guys? At work! Yo. Coolness is overwhelming. *sighs* Alone at desk with only half a clue as to what to do... this is the highlight of my week. Well, other than lying in a hospital bed knowing that they're going to stick a camera up my butt, freezing to death, and having owchie needles stuck into me while I couldn't see anything. Hey, you know those round plastic things from "The Ring" that they stick on Samara? Yeah, well, I got three of those stuck on me. Much fun there.

Finally saw Thirteen Ghosts and that was a pretty decent movie. The idea was interesting, the overall movie was pretty dumb, but I got scared shitless of the Jackal. A screaching guy with a cage over his face and long fingernails is not exactly the kind of thing you want to be watching at 1am. I really liked some of the visuals- each ghost I thought was pretty well done- and they way that they moved was also excellent for the added scariness. Plus the whole glass house thing- definitely liked that. And the scene with the ghosts in the end all standing around the circle thing... wow. Good stuff, man. I liked the "I'm Sorry" with the Angry Princess, too. Yay. So yeah, worth seeing, but not worth obsessing over.

What else... picked up a manga called Lucu Lucu... not anything spectacular, but it's cute.

Saw "The English Patient", too... for English extra credit. I didn't like it. The book is pretty good- there's an air of mystery about it. But the mystery that surrounds the book is totally lost on the movie, and I felt a little cheated. Some nice visuals of the desert, but other than that, crap. Oh yeah, and Ralph Fiennes- or whatever is name is- is pretty cute. But seriously, guys, it's like... all about obsession and childishness. And that bothers me. Childlike is good; childish is not. Plus I didn't care about any of the characters except for Kip, so that was useless.

Okay, so I've narrowed it down to two possible academic paths for me to run along. First off, I'm considering double majoring in Psychology and Creative Writing- and then moving on to get my masters in Biopsychology. Not sure if that will work, but you never know. ^^ I'm just not sure what I'd want to do with Biopsych masters. The other idea is to do Creative Writing and Fine Arts majors and then do a masters in Professional Writing and Editing. Go into editing as a career and write on the side- kind of test the waters of my writing skills before running off the deep end. *laughs* That way, with the writing, I'd have a couple plans for different things to do for career- comic book writing, novel writing, non-fiction writing, or editing... so yay. Lots of things to do with that that I would enjoy.

My head is so fuzzy right now. I think I've got a tiny cold. Either that or there's some kind of funky mold in the air right now.... I've been coughing a little and sneezing and runny nose and I'm really really tired. I think tomorrow is probably going to be Deby's Day Off. So if I'm not around at all (to those who I talk to online), don't be surprised. I just need rest. And maybe some soup and tea. And a nice bath.

Well, back to the job, and to see if I can't get on AOL from here. Nya nya nya....

Love love.
